POP3 SMTP Mail Server Settings

I don’t know whether you’ve ever troubled with the POP3 and SMTP settings of mail servers like hotmail (also live), gmail, yahoo mail, AOL or any other similar mail services. But I had to search for a long time for getting a solution for my problem. That’s why thought to share this when remembered about that. Really, when I was installing Microsoft office packs – several times I was thinking why these other services like outlook and all are coming with this. Literally I didn’t know what are the benefits or what for it used but yeah, now I know it pretty well.

At least some of you people might have thought to avoid visiting the mail servers (their websites like yahoo mail, live, gmail etc.) each time and logging in to see your emails. I was a person who was thinking so. I have told ‘then’ that outlook is a good way to avoid this. So I started (started my struggles in fact ) to set up my emails through outlook. It never worked. Then I learned that the proper settings are required for this. So I tried to collect the POP3, SMTP email server details for the mail server which I was using. But at that time gmail and live were not supporting outlook. All my efforts gone waste. But now its not the same situation here. Now a days people prefer reading their emails offline and sending and receiving emails when they get connected to internet ‘processing through the background’. I mean – while doing some other things.

So before setting up an email connection on your private mail service or with outlook express you need these details.

Hotmail Server Settings

Hotmail Incoming Mail Server (POP3) – pop3.live.com (logon using Secure Password Authentication – SPA, mail server port: 995)

Hotmail Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) – smtp.live.com (SSL enabled, port 25)

GMail Server Settings

Google Gmail Incoming Mail Server (POP3) – pop.gmail.com (SSL enabled, port 995)

Outgoing Mail Server – use the SMTP mail server address provided by your local ISP or smtp.gmail.com (SSL enabled, port 465)

Yahoo! Mail Plus email server settings

Incoming Mail Server (POP3) – plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com (SSL enabled, port 995)

Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) – plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com (SSL enabled, port 465, use authentication)

Netscape Mail Settings

Netscape Internet Service Incoming Mail Server (POP3) – pop.3.isp.netscape.com (port 110)

Netscape Internet Service Outgoing Mail Server – smtp.isp.netscape.com (port 25, using a secure SSL connection)

MSN Mail Settings

MSN Incoming Mail Server (POP3) – pop3.email.msn.com (port 110, using Secure Password Authentication – SPA)

MSN Outgoing Mail Server – smtp.email.msn.com (select “My outgoing server requires authentication”)

AOL Mail Settings

AOL Incoming Mail Server (IMAP) – imap.aol.com (port 143)

AOL Outgoing Mail Server – smtp.aol.com or use your local ISP SMTP mail server

From the last three weeks all the Indian webmasters and online entrepreneurs are struggling to withdraw their funds. Till then everything was fine with paypal.  And they were the most comfortable payment processing services to India. But due to some legal issues with Reserve Bank Of India, paypal has suspended the ‘convenient’ services in India.

How to Comment on Dofollow Blogs? Why don’t Act Intelligent?

Dofollow blog commenting! One among the real seo techniques that can bring guaranteed improvement both on site ranking and keyword ranking. Then why people are so stupid still?

Coming to the Story. It just took more than a thirty minutes for me to clear the spam-comments from my blog’s database. There was more than a hundred ’stupid’ comments to be get deleted. See, I’m just like you each. I also do blog commenting, link building etc to promote my blogs and other websites. But I’m very much intelligent than you. Because I’m getting approvals with the links I place even inside the comment other than website url, even with the most tougly moderating websites. What is the difference between you and me? More than 50% of the comments I’ve just deleted were saying – ‘wow, wonderful post’, ‘great idea, thanks’, ‘I am coming from Google, you have a great blog’ etc etc. Funny Guys! The interesting thing is all these guys were intelligent to put their main keyword in the name field (:laugh: Some are ‘SEO Experts’ too) I pity on these experts. If you are an expert at search engine optimization you must know how exactly to get approvals with any dofollow blogs. Can you say that a guy is an seo expert if he can’t even get an approved blog comment? Of course not.

My way of blog Commenting.

As I’ve stated above I’ve never get a rejection with any of my comments. Some of my comments are with very popular and highly moderating sites ( Sorry can’t reveal the website urls – as it’s business). The thing behind my comment approvals are the author feel the comment should be attached with the post for sure. Or there will be a very relevant question about the post with the comment or etc. This is the right way to comment. See, (you SEO Experts) comments really can act like powerful ‘backbones’ to your websites. Then why can’t you be some more struggling and intelligent. Give great information with your comment (avoid copy-pasting) your comments will be approved even with html links. I’m experienced with this. I have got many PR 5 and 4 inner page comments with website url as well as html keyword inside the comment. But those comments were very relevant. The comment should be encouraging the author to post some follow ups. There is your success. Posting something like ‘your posts are great’ or ‘you are very intelligent’ etc will never come out. Because with these praises itself one can identify that they wanted to get their comments approved by impressing the author.

Why you are struggling with keywords as your names? Remember if you put a keyword as your name, that means you are loosing 50% of the comment approval chance. Because this will definitely tell the author that this is aiming a back link. Why you are thinking that you won’t get the link juice if you place your name and website? Believe me, both are giving the same juice. If you place your name you will be loosing only a very very negligible amount of link juice. If you are still not believing this, go and create an account with some good forum. Don’t put any keywords anywhere, instead just give the website url as your home page. Definitely that link will be counted. Then why can’t you do the same with comments?

After all Remember, if the OBL (outbound Links) numbers are less you are going to get lots of link juice from that page. So put a little more attention to make valid comments. Make the author of the post feel that the comment is good enough to post and as a gift for the comment he will approve the post with the link. It has proved many times that a single comment link (dofollow) from a PR 5 or 6 page can get your website greater ranking improvement. So be practical. If the topic is not in your area, do a little research (do this only if the page is having a great PR) and post the comment. Don’t listen to others saying that links should be placed on websites with related subjects. It’s just a fallacy. All the best.!
