Are you looking for some serious readers for your blog? Do you need pretty good traffic? What if both of this coming along also with some backlinks? Interesting uh? Yeah it’s interesting. Yahoo answers are very good to increase your audience and exposure. People approach Yahoo Answers to learn about various subjects. You might have seen that questions and answers that appear on ‘Yahoo Answers’ appear on top of SERPs (Search engine results pages). If you can be informative with your answers you can drive good traffic to your websites with Yahoo Answers.
It’s very much true that the more you help others the more people will come to trust you. Intelligent internet marketers even use yahoo answers for affiliate marketing. So be helpful with your answers and if you simply try to give half baked help expecting traffic, disappointment will be the only result. Some guys are enough intelligent to post questions that can give great push to their sites. It’s all an ‘intelligent game’. First of all you need to find out the right question through which (with the help of an informative answer) you are going to boost your website. Remember always that when somebody is helpful with their posts or services or when they appear to be an expert on the subject the readers tempted to follow his advice. Hence the links that you are placing with the answers saying for more information or similar services will naturally attract people and definitely they visit the links and see your website. You can’t ever buy such visitors who are really interested on the topic and who are coming with a trust. This is just like targeted traffic.
But, don’t get fouled in the game. As I’ve told above this is an intelligent game. Don’t get stumped; while using yahoo answers for traffic and seo you must be very careful. Don’t simply search for the questions in your own niche and answer them with a link to your websites. It will give a spammer look and will not help you fully. So be writing answers on other topics also. As well as giving your own links provide links to the most popular websites like Wikipedia, Encyclopedia Britannica etc. In some cases you can give one or two links from these types of authority sites and one link to your own site. This will help more to make your links trustworthy. So that your answers will get more real looks than a promotional one. Be researched with your answers. Another important thing to take care of is don’t simply write the complete answer, don’t be too short too. Write enough to draw the reader’s interest and then give the link back to your website for further reference. This will make a temptation on every reader to visit the link that you’ve provided. In other words conversion will be 100%. Better give a deep link (a link to one of the inner pages in your website where the reader can find the exact data) than giving your website’s home page link.
Of course, it takes time, intelligence and hard work. But if you work well, it will not take much time to see massive results in your website’s traffic with yahoo answers. Remember that this is 100% free; you can score well and get great exposure just with a few answers. The best thing with yahoo answers is – the traffic is not just from the yahoo answers website alone, but you will be getting traffic from all the major search engines as yahoo answers can easily appear on top of the SERPs of other search engines too.
PS: Some seo services are offering yahoo answers posting services. In case you can’t yourself you may even make use of such services.

This is nice tips found here about grab visitors to your websites.
Yahoo answers is really good for getting target traffic to your website. One can get good amount of visits to his site after posting cleverly to any question that is quite similar to his website, or the website he can refer as a source for the answer.
A really good idea there. I will definately try this method.
The point you make about using yahoo intelligently is something people should take note of. I can imagine it would be too easy to give the game up and look like a spammer.
As well as niche traffic you may get subscribers and regular readers if you are informative enough.
Thankyou.

Yahoo answers is an okay source for traffic but it sucks that all urls aren’t linkable, so wouldn’t that be pointless for Pr?
